Parent: Thank-you for everything that you do, it means the world to me that [my daugh-
ter] has such a loving, compassionate and fun adult that is part of her journey in learning
to navigate life as a child in a Military family.
School staff: We want to support our students in every way possible! I am hoping that
having the opportunity to sign up for Deployment Services on-site would be a great
way to do that! I have seen the posi ve effects of your program with my own children
and want to ensure all parents in our school community know it is available to them in
deployment situa ons!
From grade 2 students:
• I love Deployment. We get to do cra s and games, we can talk about how we feel,
and if we're mad and sad. I learned Jelly Belly and Robot-Jellyfish to calm down,
now I don't get in trouble so much when I'm upset.
• I can talk to other kids who miss their moms, and get to do fun stuff too. It makes it
ok when mom goes on tour, and it's my favourite me at school.
