This wine-tas ng evening was also a kick-off for the Agency's 25th anniversary celebra ons. Guests had a chance to taste four different wines with cheese pairings, and look back at how the PMFRC has grown -- and changed -- over the past 25 years. Guests also par cipated in a trivia contest, had a chance to get a henna ta oo, got their picture taken at our photo booth and had the opportunity to bid on silent auc on items. Dancers from Starz in Mo on entertained us with the premier performance of a dance number called Deployment. The young dancers – many of whom were children from Military families -- wore period costumes and uniforms and their number depicted the emo on of separa on and reunion. A special thank you to Star 96.7 who was the media sponsor for the event, providing promo onal support, an emcee and a beau ful video of the event highlights. Thank you to the Petawawa Golf Club for their support in the hos ng and planning of this event, and to the many local businesses that contributed items to our silent auc on. Thanks to their generosity, the event raised over $4,600 in support of programs and services for local Military families. Finally, we would like to thank the dedicated team of volunteers who formed our planning commi ee, as well as those volunteers who worked at the event to make it such a success.
