Poor drainage can cause
major problems for golf
courses. To alleviate damage,
NDS Inc. offers the French
Drain EZflow.
It's a prefabricated trench
drain that is a gravel-free
option to a traditional French
drain. It cuts installation time
in half by eliminating the need
to transport, shovel and move
heavy gravel.
Ryan Larsen, an NDS civil
engineer, said EZflow can
stop water from pooling
in unwanted areas, get rid
of standing water around
golf courses and eliminate
standing water from outdoor
sports complexes.
"The EZflow eliminates a lot
of installation steps of the
typical French drain," Larsen
said.
A French drain is a trench
filled with gravel or rock or
containing a perforated pipe
that redirects surface water
and groundwater away from
an area.
