OPTIMUM NITROGEN MANAGEMENT There are many ways to manage nitrogen to provide a functional and aesthetic surface. Ours and others research show at least three good methods of nitrogen management, including: • Frequent (2-4 weeks) application of traditional quick release nitrogen (urea, ammonium sulfate, urea ammonium nitrate, etc.) through the active growing season via foliar sprays, • Frequent (2-4 weeks) application of traditional quick release nitrogen Nitrogen is the most impactful on plant health and water relations.
