34 THE SHOP OCTOBER 2017 Chevrolet Rear End Covers PROFORM Parts, Warren, Michigan, presents its Chevy Bowtie Differential Covers that add looks and performance to Chevrolet rear housings. Designed to stiffen up the main cap area, the housing flex of the differential is reduced, increasing gear life and minimizing ring deflection. The bowtie emblem is prominently displayed with a precision CNC-milled finish, and the covers include two bearing main cap stabilizing bolts. They are available for 7.5 GM, 8.2/8.5 GM (10-bolt) and passenger car (12-bolt) rear housings. In-Line Oil Cooler Allstar Performance, Watervliet, Michigan, presents an In-Line Oil Cooler, featuring a ribbed exterior extrusion that aides in cooling transmission or power steering fluids by 30 degrees. An internal channel adds ease when mounting two 1/4-inch bolts or tie wraps. Suitable for most classes of circle track or drag race cars, the cooler can also be used on street rods and tow vehicles. Available in aluminum or black finish, it includes -6AN adapter fittings and measures 14-1/2-inches long and 1-3/4-inches in diameter. Modern Muscle Motor Oils Champion Brands, Clinton, Missouri, introduces Champion Modern Muscle Motor Oils, a new line specifically formulated to maximize the demands of today's high-performance street vehicles. The oils are licensed by the American Petroleum Institute with viscosity grades of 5W-30, 0W-40 and 5W-50 to fit most types of modern vehicles, including high- performance turbocharged engines, supercharged gasoline engines, and multi-valve fuel injected engines, plus OEM crate motors that recommend an API/SN licensed motor oil. Suburban Helper Springs Hellwig Products, Visalia, California, presents new Aftermarket Helper Springs for 2017 Chevrolet Suburban 3500HD two- and four- wheel drive models. The springs allow Suburban owners to better tow and haul heavy loads with improved safety, stability and comfort by maintaining a level ride height, improving overall drive control. The progressive rate of the Pro-Series Helper Spring withholds activation until a load is present, allowing the vehicle to drive like stock when unladen. Adjustable U-bolts provide additional adjustment for uneven loads. Power Stroke Degas Bottle Sinister Diesel, Roseville, California, presents its new Degas (Coolant Overflow) Bottle for 1999.5-2003 Ford Power Stroke applications. It joins Sinister's Degas bottle for the Ford 6.0-liter Power Stroke in the company's line of high-performance aftermarket parts. Both Degas bottles are made from 6061 aircraft- grade aluminum that is TIG welded and pressure-tested for maximum strength. The bottles feature a sight glass for easy level inspection and are direct bolt-in replacements for stock reservoirs. PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS PERFORMANCE Track & Touring Wheels Rocket Racing Wheels, Chattanooga, Tennessee, presents its new Track & Touring Series wheels. Based on the company's dual-direction, flow- form, semi-forged wheel production method, the wheels feature a cast center that can be moved within a wide range of offsets inside the spun- forged outer rim, providing options previously only available on expensive multi-piece wheels.
