50 THE WOLVERINE OCTOBER 2017   FOOTBALL RECRUITING Quarterback Joe Milton, 6-5, 210, Orlando, Fla. (Olympia) Committed May 7 and appears to be the only quarterback target for Michigan in 2018. Checks in as the No. 6 dual-threat quarterback and No. 105 overall prospect nationally. Running Back Christian Turner, 5-10, 180, Buford, Ga. (Buford) Pledged to the Wolverines April 10 and has been active on Twitter recruiting other players in and around Georgia. Carries a three-star rating and is Rivals' No. 15 running back nationally. Wide Receiver Kamryn Babb, 6-1, 175, St. Louis (Christian Brothers College High) Unfortunately tore his ACL at the beginning of his senior campaign, but was one of Michigan's top targets at wide receiver before that. His four-star rating isn't in jeopardy, but his ranking as the No. 34 wide receiver and No. 164 overall prospect nationally could be. Michael Ezeike, 6-5, 210, Ontario, Calif. (Colony) The four-star prospect is quite high on Oregon, but the Michigan offer from earlier this spring has his attention. Amon-Ra St. Brown, 6-1, 187, Santa Ana, Calif. (Mater Dei) Everyone wants the five-star and No. 1 receiver in the country, but it looks like he'll end up at either USC, where his teammate and five-star quarterback J.T. Daniels is committed, or at Notre Dame or Stanford, where his older brothers play. Tight End Luke Ford, 6-7, 247, Carterville, Ill. (Carterville) The nation's No. 1 tight end visited Ann Arbor a couple of times in July and is definitely considering the Wolverines. Most people think that the former Arkansas commit will end up at Alabama, but the No. 72 overall prospect nationally is still looking around. Mustapha Muhammad, 6-5, 225, Missouri City, Texas (Ridge Point) It's believed that the country's No. 19 tight end will eventually com- mit to the Wolverines, but not for a little while. He was in Dallas for U-M's opener and always speaks highly of Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines. He plans to decide closer to National Signing Day. Luke Schoonmaker, 6-6, 229, Hamden, Conn. (Hamden Hall Country Day School) The top-rated player in Connecticut surprised many when he com- mitted to Michigan. The U-M coaching staff spotted the speedy three-star at a satellite camp, scouted him and offered him earlier this summer. Offensive Line Jerome Carvin, 6-4, 305, Cordova, Tenn. (Cordova) Michigan offered the No. 20 tackle in the country in May and has been giving him a lot of attention. There's still room in the class for an offensive tackle or two and the four-star is one of the top targets. Emil Ekiyor, 6-4, 315, Indianapolis (Cathedral) Is still being recruited by Florida State, Alabama and Georgia, but the No. 6 guard and No. 125 overall player nationally continues to say that he's solid to Michigan. Daniel Faalele, 6-9, 390, Bradenton, Fla. (IMG Academy) The No. 23 offensive tackle is tough to figure out because he has no prior knowledge of what football in the United States is all about. Michigan is one school that will be watching extra close throughout his senior campaign. Ryan Hayes, 6-7, 250, Traverse City, Mich. (West) The No. 51 tackle in the country committed to U-M very discretely in late May and isn't looking around. Jalen Mayfield, 6-5, 250, Grand Rapids, Mich. (Catholic Central) Just four days before Hayes, the No. 20 player in Michigan commit- ted to U-M and he isn't going anywhere. James Ohonba, 6-5, 320, Stockbridge, Ga. (Woodland) The No. 15 offensive guard in the land checked out Ann Arbor earlier this year and has U-M in his top group, along with USC, Alabama and LSU. Nick Petit-Frere, 6-5, 265, Tampa, Fla. (Berkeley Prep) The No. 13 offensive tackle and No. 175 overall prospect nationally is exactly what offensive line coach Greg Frey is looking for at the position. He's long and athletic. Defensive End Eyabi Anoma, 6-5, 225, Baltimore (St. Frances) The country's No. 5 weakside defensive end and No. 99 overall pros- pect nationally is tough to read — but former U-M analyst Biff Poggi coaches at St. Frances, which could make things interesting. Tyler Friday, 6-3, 260, Ramsey, N.J. (Don Bosco Prep) The Wolverines are still in solid shape with the No. 6 strongside de- fensive end and No. 60 overall prospect nationally. Aidan Hutchinson, 6-6, 248, Dearborn, Mich. (Divine Child) He's as solid as any recruit ever as a Michigan legacy, and the coun- try's No. 18 strongside defensive end has physically developed very well over the past year or so. He plans on signing with Michigan in December. Ronnie Perkins, 6-4, 260, St. Louis (Lutheran North) The land's No. 13 strongside defensive end and No. 243 overall pros- pect nationally is high on the Wolverines, and might have Michigan in the upper third of his top 12 along with LSU, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma. 2018 Scholarship Offer Master List Master List Notes Committed To Michigan: None.
