Spartaque hasn't fucked about with this one. Rapidly rising Ukraine techno powerhouse, Spartaque is back with a vengeance. Landing a killer four tracked EP on Tronic, it's exactly why he's making such waves in the techno scene. Entitled No Bullets Please, the theme is hypnotic techno grooves designed for the clubs and festival tents that'll get all corners of the rave moving. The uplifting melodies combined with his no bullshit rolling rhythms are a sound he's taken the time to perfect, and the results are nothing short of incredible. Throughout the EP he exercises sick production techniques with a clear ear for the kind of hooks that'll get into the minds and souls of ravers. 'This and That' is a label run by Italian DJ icon Davide Squillace whose recognised globally as one of the world's top club spinners. Skream returns to play Village Underground from open to close on 29th September. GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: BASTI GRUB Following on from last year's sell out party, the infamous DJ will play a seriously special 7 hour set encompassing a huge range of genres, all delivered in classic Skream style with bucketfuls of energy, charisma and party spirit. Skream has traversered a whole musical world since his first release over ten years ago. After conquering dubstep and bringing the genre to a mianstream audience, he turned his eye to house and techno and the artist continues to give us a lot of great releases & sets along the way. This mammoth seven hour set is an opportunity to see what he really is about, behind the hype, and boy, any chance to have a peak in this guy's record collection should be grabbed with both hands! With the 2017 Ibiza season in full swing, Davide Squillace presents a new release from rising German star Basti Grub, who's music is regularly supported by the likes of Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos. Basti Grub's new EP titled Essence is deep and groovy with a low slung vibe tailor made for Balearic sunsets and sun drenched dancefloors. With a fusion of tribal percussion and 80's funk, this release is both quirky and intelligent. Infectiously catchy and distinctly individual, these tracks of perfectly produced house music are must haves for your playlist.
