REVIEW MOONDANCE FESTIVAL WAS OFF THE CHAIN @ 6TH AUGUST Moondance delivered another epic festival. Offering an unparalleled line up in London this summer; the festival hosted 5 stages, each a snapshot of the different rave scenes in the UK. It was hard not to get pulled in and commit to each stage, they were all so good! Though special shouts to the Main Stage which hosted the rocking sounds of old skool and jungle music. LTJ Bukem was nothing short of epic and DJ Storm's tribute set to Marcus Intalex... that was special. REVIEW Standon Calling on the last weekend of July was an exemplary display of British festival production, with their lineup taking place across three days. Orbital, on Friday night, was our favourite gig of the festival. The crowd was an eclectic mix – uni students and old timers. The new blood started mosh pits to every percussive drop. Grace Jones slayed the Sunday headline slot, as can be expected. While Horse Meat Disco played for four hours in the cowshed, in one of the most euphoric sets of the weekend. Nu-disco and soul-tinged house that can only be described as righteous resounded over Standon. STANDON CALLING SHOWED SMALL FESTIVALS HOW IT'S DONE Percolate are taking over the iconic Roundhouse in Camden for an extra special disco party on the 30th September. For nine hours, from 2pm till 11pm, the promoters have got some of the biggest disco-tinged electronic acts lined up. From Todd Terji, Crazy P, and Horse Meat Disco. Once the huge event at the Roundhouse has finished, due to the venues 11 pm curfew, Percolate will move to a smaller more intimate venue where they'll be bringing out Nick The Record, Love Glove & Raw Silk. Oh yes. PREVIEW PERCOLATE @ THE ROUNDHOUSE
