The RV manufacturer's Jay Flight line remains at the top of Statistical Surveys list of top-selling travel trailers for what Chief Operating Officer Matt Thompson joked is the "millionth year". Growth has pushed Jayco into third place among the best-selling towable manufacturers and an influx of funding and energy since the 2016 purchase of the company by Thor Industries resulted in some of the most attractive motorized units Jayco has produced in recent times. But along with the excitement and growth has come a certain amount of apprehension, because Jayco's products – especially the Jay Flight – have become popular at a rate that has out- stripped the RV maker's ability to keep pace with production demands, resulting in Jayco seeing significant order backlogs, not unlike other growing companies in the industry. But as a record 577 people representing 185 Jayco dealers gathered in late August at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn., for the annual Dealer Homecoming event to get a peek at 2018 offerings, company officials had a reassuring message for A Happy Homecoming Jayco unveiled plans for a major new production plant while introducing its lineup of 2018 models during its annual Dealer Homecoming event.
