"The excellent sales figures reflect the good current market situation," Pfaff said, adding that the exuberant mood among manufacturers, dealers and customers lead them to expect the European RV industry will benefit from the current RVing boom over the next few months. Show organizers said this year's event featured more than 600 exhibitors, up from 560 last year, and the amount of show space totaled more than 214,000 square meters, up modestly from about 210,000 square meters in 2016. In total, some 2,100 RVs were on display at the Caravan A number of RV makers displaying units at the Dusseldorf show offered motorized toy haulers.
