On the Move Large-format printer manufacturer Roland DGA Corp., Irvine, Calif., strengthens its team with two new appointments and a promotion to its product management, marketing communications and purchas- ing/distribution departments. Rachel Hammer has been appointed rotary product manager for rotary devices. She had served as a designer for Fusion of Ideas, an Irvine-based engraving company. Marc Malkin joins Roland as a public relations representative/ copywriter. He brings more than 15 years of agency and corporate PR and Hammer Malkin Kienast advertising experience. Ron Kienast, a 12-year Roland DGA veteran, is promoted to the position of manager of purchasing and distribution. The new branch joins the existing Columbia, S.C., branch to form a new Screen and digital printing equipment, inks, and sup- plies provider Nazdar SourceOne, Shawnee, Kan., has hired Nikki Sochor as digital consumables special- ist. Sochor will be responsible for focusing on and responding to the digital consumable needs of printers in the southern California region supported by the Garden Grove location.
