KEEPSAKE COLLECTION ARTS & CRAFT SHOWS JUNE 15–17, JULY 27–29, AUGUST 17–19, SEPTEMBER 21–23 Arts and cra shows located in Zehnder Park featuring handmade goods and more! Great for groups that just want to stroll and enjoy Main Street. VOLKSLÄUFE (THE PEOPLE'S RACE) JULY 3 – 4 A certified race course taking more than 2,500 runners past several of Frankenmuth's most beloved landmarks. Festivities kick off on July 3 with food, entertainment, and fireworks display. This event is a great fit for groups looking for something to do for Independence Day. FRANKENMÜDDER JULY 15 A 3-mile boot-camp style mud run featuring more than 15 challenging obstacles that involves running, climbing, crawling and swimming, all benefiting Michigan's Military and Space Heroes Museum. For athletic or military focused school groups, this is the event for you. CASS RIVER COLONIAL ENCAMPMENT JULY 21 – 22 Experience an 18th Century encampment of historical reenactors representing British, French and Americans. Tactical bale reenactments, flag raising, musket firing, period concert & games! This is the ultimate school field trip for a history class! ANTIQUE FIRE MUSTER JULY 28 Antique fire truck displays and pumping events in Heritage Park. Parade through downtown on Saturday morning. This is a more relaxed event, making it less crowded and easier to navigate through town and the event itself. SUMMER MUSIC FEST AUGUST 9–11, 16–18 A celebration of Polka, Polish, German & Slovenian style music. Food, drinks and dancing on a wooden dance floor. Plenty of room for seating and walking around.
