Suwanee, Georgia-based flatbed printer manufacturer Van- guard Digital Printing Systems announces its acquisition of Dallas-based Inkjet Technology Inc., a manufacturer of large- format dye sublimation and UV flatbed printers. "Vanguard Digital Printing Systems is excited to wel- come the customers and suppliers of ITI," says James Case, chief operating officer for Vanguard. "This acquisition better positions us to assist our customers in the North American market. Our goal is to continue to offer the best printers, products and service to all of our customers, which now in- cludes ITI's installed base. This acquisition helps support the tremendous growth that Vanguard Digital is experiencing." ITI first launched in 2015, while Vanguard debuted its first two printers the following year. The acquisition includes the line of six wide-format printers ITI cur- rently has on the market. Grimco Acquires Advantage Sign and Graphic Solutions St. Louis-based Grimco Inc., a wholesale sign supply company with roots dating back to its founding in 1875, announces its acquisition of Grand Rapids, Michigan- based Advantage Sign & Graphic Solutions, a nationwide supplier of equipment and supplies to sign and graphics professionals. With the acquisition of Advantage Sign and Graphic Solutions, Grimco will be able to distribute Gerber Technology products that will allow its growth into the thermal printing market to continue. "Grimco is excited to welcome the employees, customers and suppliers of Advantage Sign and Graphic Solutions," says Keith Pittillo, president of Grimco's U.S. division. "This acquisition better positions us to assist our customers across the U.S. We will also enter two new markets, adding branches in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Richmond, Virginia. Our goal is to continue to provide and expand the great service, products, and industry knowledge that has been offered by Advantage Sign and Graphic Solutions for many years." Laguna Tools Acquires SuperMax Tools Inc. Irvine, California-based CNC router manufacturer Laguna Tools Inc. announces its acquisition of St. Paul, Minnesota- based SuperMax Tools, which designs and sells drum, brush and combo sanders for the woodworking and metalworking industries. The company also sells sander accessories, including dust collectors, abrasives and brushes. "The acquisition of SuperMax will add products that are highly complementary to our product lineup," says Torben Helshoj, founder and CEO of Laguna Tools. "SuperMax's brush and drum sanders are best-in-class and we look forward to offering customers our complete line of superior woodworking and metalworking equipment." Helshoj continues: "We have long wished to offer a broader range of sanding products. SuperMax is clearly the leader in this field and we believe together, we can offer customers new and innovative products". Laguna Tools says it is planning to open an east coast distribution center by year's end that will allow Laguna and SuperMax customers to combine orders. Florida's Vista System Outfits South African Hospital Sarasota, Florida-based Vista System, a provider of modular wayfind- ing and ADA signage systems, announces the installation of a wayfinding system for a South African hospital. St Patrick's Hospital is a 100-bed, govern- ment-funded hospital in Bizana, Eastern Cape. The hospital serves the 281,000 residents of the Bizana Local Municipal- ity area. Services include dentistry, gynecology, pediatrics, pharmacy services, physio- therapy, radiology, surgical services and more. Vista System designed and installed the eye-catching graphics that complemented the hospital's interior design. The company's GREEN certification was also a selling point to the hospital's architects, it said. The signage was sold through Vista System's African dis- tributor, Red Hand Sign Supplies.
