8 ■ THE WOLFPACKER It seems like yesterday that we took the field for the first day of fall camp, and pretty soon we'll be preparing for our fourth straight bowl trip. It is only the sev- enth time in school history that a senior class has been to four straight bowls, and we're very proud of that. Speaking of our senior class, we will honor them during the pregame of our Nov. 25 finale with North Carolina. This will be one of the most memorable Senior Days of my career, not just because of the sheer number of seniors we will be honoring, but because of the impact these young men have had. This group has been through many ups and downs during their careers, and it has been one of the most rewarding times of my life to watch them mature as players and men. They have built the foundation for something special here at NC State. They truly bought into our vision of "1 Pack- 1Goal: a united mission to win a cham- pionship." They have been outstanding leaders, and I am excited to watch them as they embark on their lives after college. Here's a look at the group of young men we will honor on Senior Day: Tony Adams, OG Davion Allred, DE Johnathan Alston, CB Shawn Boone, SAF/NIC Bradley Chubb, DE Cole Cook, TE Peter Daniel, OT Jerod Fernandez, LB B.J. Hill, DT Justin Jones, DT Ben Kaiser, OG Nick Lacy, CB Gavin Locklear, WR Airius Moore, LB Dakwa Nichols, RB JuMichael Ramos, WR Jaylen Samuels, H Bryan Smith, DE Mike Stevens, CB Kentavius Street, DE It's very rewarding to see our players named to so many midseason awards lists. It shows the progress our program has made to have players at different positions earning recognition. Bradley Chubb, Jaylen Samuels and Nyheim Hines were all midseason All- Americans, while Ryan Finley and A.J. Cole were named semifinalists for other awards. I know that none of those guys are satisfied and will continue to work hard to finish the season the right way. I just want to take a minute to express my appreciation to our fans for their sup- port this season. Wolfpack Nation has been an unbelievable key to any success we have enjoyed. The atmosphere for the Louisville game was as good as I've ever seen in at Carter-Finley and made it a memorable night for anyone who was there. Then, after the win at Pitt and even at Notre Dame, hearing Wolfpack fans chanting "Wolf" "Pack" in an opponent's stadium just made me realize even more what a special place this is. Our staff and players are so grateful for your support — thanks for being loud and wearing red! 1Pack1Goal, Coach Doeren ■ From Head Football Coach Dave Doeren Honoring Our Seniors Seniors defensive end Bradley Chubb (above) and H-back Jaylen Samuels (right) will be honored along with other classmates before the UNC-Chapel Hill game Nov. 25.
