Joe Johnson Equipment , The De-OX Ice Making System has evolved ice making through scientific innovation. De-OX water produces ice that is harder, faster, and more resilient to cuts and ruts. The De-OX is a complete water treatment system that is proven to be economical, ecological, and eliminates the need to add chemicals. The De-OX removes dissolved oxygen from water before building or resurfacing the ice. By removing the oxygen from the water, ice freezes faster and shows paint with greater clarity. Additionally, facilities can raise their ice temperature 2-3°F while maintaining a high-quality sheet of ice, lowering energy consumption and reducing refrigeration costs. Facilities with the De-OX System may be eligible to receive rebates from various gas and hydro utilities across North America.
