Thank you to all who joined us at this year's CEO & Executive Leadership Conference in beautiful Niagara-on-the-lake. Every year, CEOs and executive leaders attend this conference to gain valuable insights, reflect on the industry and network with their peers. However, we did a few things differently this year, most notably a change in location. Member feedback over the last few years has indicated it was time for a change and many expressed interest in a location closer to Toronto. Our experience at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa turned out to be an extremely positive one. They provided exemplary customer service and I'm happy to share that we had a record attendance at this year's conference! We had the pleasure of hearing from engaging, world-class speakers who delved into this year's theme, Building the Future: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities. Among this year's speakers were those who challenged us to find the stories worth telling, create trust through the use of influencers and dispel the millennial myth by encouraging cross-generation collaboration. Speakers also provided an in-depth analysis of the regulatory and economic landscape and its impact on innovation and growth for our industry – and when it comes to Canada-U.S. relations – a warning I won't soon forget; the unthinkable is now thinkable. One theme remained constant, our industry faces a challenging road ahead; let's adapt to predict some of these challenges and turn them into opportunities. Thank you to everyone who joined us, I hope you enjoyed the conference and found the insights valuable and the networking rewarding. I look forward to seeing you again at next year's conference – on Oct. 11-12, 2018. Michael Graydon CEO, FCPC CEO WRAP-UP
