The acquisition of the SprigMaster II line and its addition to KWMI's existing products means they now offer equipment for the entire cycle of turf production— planting, harvesting and installing. The SprigMaster II line converts solid sod (slabs, mini rolls and big rolls) into sprigs and plants all in one pass, greatly reducing chances of contamination. They are excellent machines for expanding sod farms, sports fields and golf courses. Standard features include: hydraulic overdrive, spring-loaded and swivel coulters and high-speed carrying wheels. Options include: a slab or mini-roll tray and extra blades for a finer cut. The Sprig Master II is designed to be used with an agricultural tractor with a minimum of 25 PTO horse- power. The new 2013 model track installer offers the option of a clamp or bar hook-up.
