His fore- cast is based on the fact that Arrow has sold out exhibit space every year in recent years. Another good indicator of the show's success is its dealer turnout, and Mullin expects dealer atten- dance to grow again this year. "Dealer attendance has steadily increased year over year and we foresee that again for 2018," he says. Educational and product training seminars will run from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 16. Vendors hosting the 45-minute sessions have latitude to decide what topics they want to cover with attendees. "Some focus on show specials for a portion of the assembly and then leave a portion for dealer questions, while some talk about new products and their respective features and benefits," Mullin says. The upcoming show has a number of new vendors in atten- dance, including two new vendors giving seminars: Torklift and Dometic. Show hours will be from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16 and from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 17. The upcoming show will feature hours with special pricing where dealers will be able to take advantage of "crazy low prices," Mullin says. "We are working with vendors to offer desired items at a bargain that are going to be hard to refuse." As far as dealer entertainment, there will be cocktail recep- tions from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17. For those who have never attended an Arrow show, Mullin says there are many reasons dealers should give it a try. "Dealers should come for many reasons," he says. "One, because we're a distributor that doesn't compete against our dealers online or on Amazon. We ensure our efforts are focused on providing dealers the product, services and parts they need. Secondly, they call our show the best buying opportunity of the year for a reason. Dealers see the variety of products and pricing and know they've made the right decision. "Dealers also come for the family atmosphere you experience from an Arrow show. We are family-owned and it resonates throughout the event. You get personalized service from our co-workers and they will one-on-one guide you through the show, bring attention to specials, new products and buying opportunities they think you might be interested in." Based on feedback from dealers who have attended the show for years and new dealers who have been to one or two shows, Mullin says the message is consistent. Arrow Distributing will return to the IP Casino Resort and Spa for its January show. New vendors exhibiting and presenting training seminars include Dometic and Torklift.
