Fly-In By Scott Stuntz Managing Editor A s potato growers again prepare to travel to Washington to make sure Congress and the administration hear their concerns as part of the annual Potato D.C. Fly-In, we asked Kam Quarles and John Keeling of the National Potato Council to outline their goals for this year's trip. What issues should growers make sure to have on their radar for 2018? Definitely trade, the Farm Bill and the agricultural labor crisis. As we get toward September and the election, there is also the possibility of a government shutdown. What's on the agenda for this Fly-In? Last year was about starting a dialogue with the new administration. What is the focus this year?
