he past three-and-a-half seasons, Vincent Edwards has been
one of Purdue's most productive three-point shooters, led the
Boilermakers in assists as a freshman and sophomore and this
season ranks among the Big Ten's best rebounders.
In effect, the versatile forward has done the work of mulitple players, and
so is unlikely to be adequately replaced by any one.
But history at Purdue suggests that if the Boilermakers are to continue
their winning ways following the departure of their current senior class, Ed-
wards' position looms large.
