Ltd. of Australia, which manufactures and sells pre- and post- processing equipment for digital textile printing. Mimaki says it recognizes the need to accelerate the growth of digital printing in the textile/apparel market. "For this reason, as we rebuild our sales and service structures for the TA market, we believe that we must work to obtain know- how relating to all aspects of digital printing," the company wrote. Mimaki says Rimslow is well-known in the textile printing industry as a pioneer of digital printing pre- and post-pro- cessing equipment, and its products are widely distributed. It was Rimslow, which was first launched in 1987, that first approached Mimaki about a possible buyout, Mimaki says. As part of the deal, Mimaki is signing a consulting contract with some of Rimslow's executives. JCDecaux Teams with Neustar Outdoor advertising company JCDecaux North America, with headquarters in Paris, announces a partnership with Sterling, Virginia-based Neustar Inc., a company that provides real- time information and analytics for a variety of industries, including the advertising world. The two companies say that under the partnership, Neustar's customer intelligence and activation solutions will be used to provide "unprecedented out-of-home media analysis based on granular consumer attributes and behaviors." JCDecaux will be able to tap into Neustar's "geographic opportunity analysis" to identify areas and activities where out of home communications would be most relevant. B Y T O N Y K I N D E L S P I R E F E B R U A R Y 2 0 1 8 PrintReleaf and EFI Partner in Reforestation Program Denver-based PrintReleaf, a software company that con- nects commercial printers with global reforestation projects, announces a new partnership with Fremont, California-based printer maker EFI. PrintReleaf guarantees, through its soft- ware and certified ecosystem, to plant a number of trees cor- responding to the amount of paper used in a printing project. Under the partnership, PrintReleaf will provide its reforesta- tion service directly to commercial printing businesses that purchase EFI technology. Although not integrated today, EFI is looking to work with PrintReleaf to determine the best options for future integra- tion to one or more of their Productivity Software Suites. PrintReleaf's current global reforestation projects are located in the United States, Brazil, Dominican Republic, India, Ireland, Madagascar and Mexico. Lettering Express Buys Vinyl Vikings Oklahoma City-based Lettering Express, a full-service sign, graphics and vehicle wraps shop, announces the purchase of competing Oklahoma City shop Vinyl Vikings. Lettering Express, which is a family owned business founded in 1988, is also putting its name on Monster Graphics, a vehicle wraps shop it bought over the summer in nearby Edmond, Oklahoma. According to CEO Charlie Trujillo, a portion of Vinyl Vikings' small staff will be joining the staff of the newly named Lettering Express in Edmond, about 15 minutes away from OKC. Rick Williams Book Signing at THE NBM SHOW in Arlington Rick Williams, author of In The Trenches, will make a special appearance at THE NBM SHOW in Arlington, Texas.
