CONFERENCE FACILITIES KEY VENUES FOR LARGE BUSINESS AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS CIVIC AUDITORIUM 501 South Holmes Avenue 208-612-8396 The Civic Auditorium is the largest auditorium in Idaho Falls. It is equipped with full stage lighting, including intelligent lights, spot lights, and follow spot lights. A professional sound system and audio/visual equipment are available. The auditorium can seat 1,892 people and the average rate is $500 for one session and $700 for two sessions. The facility has an orchestra pit and dress- ing facilities. ISU/UI CENTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION 1770 Science Center Drive 208-282-7892 The ISU/UI Center for Higher Education has 22 classrooms with a maximum seating capacity of 100. Each room is equipped with VCRs and TVs. Elmo projectors and a limited number of comput- ers are also available. UNIVERSITY PLACE AUDITORIUM 1776 Science Center Drive 208-282-7960 Located adjacent to the University Place Center for Higher Edu- cation, the University Place Auditorium seats 275 people. The facility is equipped with a full sound center and a theater-sized descending electronic screen. The auditorium has VCRs and over- head projectors, computer simulator projection screens, 35-mm slide projector, and microphones.
