It's no secret that the industry has been in a period of change and transition during the past five years. RV PRO applauds RVIA's recognition of these emerging leaders, a class that grew up with MTV and the Lord of the Rings movies. They have the benefit of gleaning from the wisdom of industry stalwarts while paving their own way and using technology in an ever-changing business environment. They know about relationships, loyalty, good business sense, strategy and disruption. This inaugural class includes new manufacturing GMs like Micah Staley and Nate Goldenberg with Grand Design, who are dialed in on creating modern looks for new RVs. It also includes a new generation of presidents, like Anthony Wollschlager with Dicor. And it includes young business owners like Jim Hoo- gendoorn III, who is a legacy owner of his dad's dealership, Jim's Camper Service. Hoogendoorn isn't the only child of the RV industry: Michael Terlep (Forest River), and Shawna Plemmons (Bill Plemmons RV World) also grew up with RV lineage. The section also includes some fresh faces, such as Courtney Robey and Monika Geraci, whose "senior manager" titles don't match the youth movement starting to emerge at RVIA. Many thanks to RVIA for its help in providing the images and information to make this section possible. RVIA's inaugural '40 Under 40' award winners highlight up-and-coming leaders who are making their mark on the industry.
