Issue 45 / 2012 www.guestlist.net FESTIVAL 23 7 9 -18th November @ Royal Festival Hall and venues around London. This month sees the return of the London Jazz Festival, ten days packed to the brim with every variation on jazz possible. The venues are dotted all over London with the larger of the concerts at Royal Festival Hall and the Barbican, and with up to thirty gigs in a night, there is a whole feast of music on offer for fans. This year our fair city will play host to performances from such luminaries as Woodkid, playing his only UK show of the year. If you're in the mood for more traditional fare, jazz-funk legend Lonnie Liston Smith will be playing an intimate gig at the Hideaway on November 16th. Got young children? Well now you can inflict your music taste upon them too, with Orphy Robinson's 'Jazz for Toddlers' at King's Place on November 18th. The festival runs from the 9th to the 18th of November, check out the website for more details and full event listings. Mmmm.
