Contact Tony at Canon Solutions America Announces Fourth Annual thINK Conference Melville, New York-based Canon Solutions America, a wholly owned subsidiary and the sales arm of Tokyo-based Canon, announces its fourth annual thINK Conference, scheduled for Sept. 5-7 at Boca Raton Resort & Club. The group "thINK" is an independent community of Canon Solutions America production print customers. The annual event brings together hundreds of industry guests to edu- cate members, both new and existing, on the rise of inkjet and its continued impact on the print industry. Along with announcing the date and venue for the 2018 thINK conference, the thINK community also announces that Bob Radzis, chief customer officer at SG360, is now president of the thINK board of directors. Radzis is joined by fellow officers Lori Messina, executive vice president at Access Direct Systems Inc., as vice president; and Larry Vaughn, sales manager for Thomas Printworks, as secre- tary/treasurer. thINK's inaugural President, Mark DeBoer, is assuming the role of past-president. To join, register at Gemini's Duets Laser XT Line Passes UV Stability Testing Cannon Falls, Minnesota-based Gemini announces that its Duets by Gemini Laser XT product line recently suc- cessfully completed UV stability testing conducted at the company's test lab facilities. Duets by Gemini is a line of engraving, ADA and architectural sign substrates made by the makers of dimensional letters, logos and plaques. The company says that its technical team subjected the entire line of Laser XT color combinations to an exten- sive battery of xenon-arc UV exposure, accelerated weath- ering and color spectrophotometer analysis. Test results, the company says, prove that Duets Laser XT engraving substrates offer extended UV stability and resistance to fading. Post-test color analysis showed that as a whole, Duets Laser XT outperforms industry benchmarks for Delta-E color shifts, with many samples exhibiting unnoticeable color difference and a virtually unchanged visual condition. IKONICS Imaging Announces 2018 Seminar Schedule Duluth, Minnesota-based image transfer products company IKONICS Imaging announces it is continuing its educational tradition in 2018 with the College of Photoresist Sandcarving. These glass-etching seminars aim to educate students in the art and business of creating high-profit, etched glass products: awards, corporate gifts, individual gifts, and signage. Almo Partners with AVIXA on 2018 E4 AV Tour Maryland-based Almo Professional A/V, a distributor of profes- sional audio and visual equipment, announces it is partner- ing with the AVIXA (Audio Visual and Integrated Experience Association), for its 2018 E4 AV Tour program. The E4 program offers AV professionals a full day of educa- tional sessions worth InfoComm Renewal Units (RUs) as well as exclusive access to the newest AV products and services. Now Part of Awning and Sign Contractors Wharton, Massachusetts-based Wholesale Awnings Inc., which was founded in 1995, announces that it is beginning the new year as part of Awning and Sign Contractors. Awning and Sign Contractors is the trade name for Angola, Indiana-based Beagle One Inc., which employs more than 90 people and operates within all 50 states.
