S I G N & D I G I T A L G R A P H I C S • March 2018 • 75 Our 120-watt laser will cut up to ½" acrylic, so this material was fast work for the sign shop laser we work with. A very small amount of clear acrylic sheet was used to make the tiny "stud hardware" we would use to mount this custom logo to a sheetrock wall. The sections of the logo were a bit delicate because the font involved was a somewhat elegant script, but it was not really as fragile as it looks. Small clear circles, with and without holes, are cut on the laser and used to create small stud mounts where the studs are actu- ally tiny nails.
