The goal of the first case is to discuss diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of horses with endocrinopathic disease. The first case will look at an 18-year-old Warmblood gelding used for eventing. The gelding has been performing ok at lower levels, however, developed anhydrosis this past summer. Historically, he has been treated for sinusitis three times over the past six months and was reported to shed his winter coat slower than his stablemates last spring. THE FIRST QUESTIONS ARE: What other information about history and physical examination do you want to know? Which diagnostic tests would you order first? To participate in this discussion, once registered and the discussion has begun, go to the discussions tab and click on "Diagnostic Tests." If you have, any questions please email cnavasdesolis@cvm.tamu.edu.
