SEND IT TO: editor@nshoremag.com or visit us at nshoremag.com Sanctuary Setting Dear Nancy, I just devoured your Summer 2017 issue [of Northshore Home]; what a treat. With each feature, I was transport- ed to a unique and stunning vision of home. I loved the modern design in the Sanctuary Setting story and would love to do an addition to our home in this style. CA R O LI N E F I TZ G E RA LD, LEXI NGTON, VIA E MAI L Unnecessary Necessities Dear Ms. Berry, Let me begin by saying how much I enjoy Northshore magazine. I received a subscription as a gift last year, and after reading it, it is kept in my car for my one-day travels, whether I'm going to Long Beach, Gloucester, Bearskin Neck in Rockport, or lunch in Essex. I refer to this magazine a lot looking for new shops and other places to go. Because of these little "out-of-the- way finds," I would like to mention a little shop in Wakefield: The Sweetbay Shop, 391 Main Street, Wake- field. Mother Beth Hylan along with her daugh- ter, Liz Ferreira, run this shop. Now, I'm sure you must get many requests to look at different places, but this shop is quite unique. Not only is it a florist, but it is a gift shop, and last week I attended a floral demonstration, which may become a monthly event. Their motto is "For life's little unneces- sary necessities." And one never leaves this correspondence photographs by Sarah Jordan McCaffery (left), by Raphael Brickman (right) store without purchas- ing something. With everyone shopping on Amazon, and the "small business" craft stores and gift shops becom- ing a thing of the past, it is refreshing to find a store where one can always find, see, and feel that "little some- thing." Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to future issues. D E N I S E FA Z I O , V IA E MA I L BONS 2017 Gratitude Dear Editors, Thank you so much!
