industry continues to
refresh their offerings
with new openings and
refurbishments.
MAUI
• The Wailea Beach Resort-Marriott
has completed a US$100 million
upgrade. The project included
revamps of all 543 guest rooms,
45,000 square feet of indoor meeting
space and 21 breakout rooms.
• On Maui's North Shore, the 463-
room The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua
has unveiled a propertywide
renovation. The resort has a total
of 173,000 square feet of outdoor
function space and 12 meeting
rooms.
OAHU
• The 563-room Prince Waikiki
has completed a US$55 million
renovation. The property, formerly
called the Hawaii Prince Hotel
Waikiki and Golf Club, also
upgraded its meeting and event
space, including the 6,960-square-foot
Pi'inaio Ballroom, 1,293-square-foot
Palolo Room and the boardroom,
along with adding two meeting
rooms.
