Wyndham washes up on Bali's shores The 177-room Wyndham Dreamland Resort Bali, located along the coastline of the southern Bukit Peninsula, has opened for business in February. Opposite the resort, the award- winning New Kuta Golf Course offers golfers an 18-hole links-styled fairway terrain overlooking the Indian Ocean. Bingin Beach and Padang Padang surf breaks are 10 minutes away, while the Uluwatu temple is a 15-minute drive away. The resort is well-equipped for seminars, meetings or social events with four venues. The largest function room - flanked by floor to ceiling windows - can accommodate up to 300 for a seminar or 250 for a banquet. For boardroom discussions or break-out sessions, the resort offers three small meeting rooms. A Q2 debut for Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur Part of the new Four Seasons Place complex that also includes upscale shopping, dining and nightlife, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur will begin hosting guests when it opens in Q2 2018 next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The new 65-storey mixed-use tower will boast a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a 23,000 sqm luxury retail space on the sixth floor. For longer stays, guests can check in to one of the 242 Four Seasons Private Residences or 27 Serviced Apartments. The hotel's events facilities comprise two ballrooms and several meeting rooms, including the 520-seat Grand Ballroom. The hotel will also have an executive lounge catering to business travellers. Hilton opens in Manila Hilton Manila will be opening its doors in mid-2018 in Newport City. Set in Resorts World Manila, the 357-key hotel will be directly connected to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, with three major convention centres in the metro within 7km from the hotel. The hotel will offer six meetings and events facilities, the largest being the Hilton Ballroom at 535sqm, which can accommodate up to 1,000 in cocktail configuration. Personalised services and bespoke menu planning are also available. Leisure amenities are located close by including a casino, shopping mall, theatres and multiple dining options, while the Villamor Golf Course is five minutes away. Hyatt Regency heads to Bangkok Scheduled to open in Q3 2018 along Sukhumvit Road, the 31-story Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit will offer an array of function spaces totalling 1,359 sqm, with natural lighting and the latest AV technology. The largest event space - located on the hotel's fifth floor - is a pillar-free ballroom for up to 1,000 guests, which can also be divided into four separate venues. Other amenities on the same floor include a lobby, waiting lounge, open communal kitchen, isolated smoking area and two more function rooms, which can be partitioned into four. On the 29th floor, guests will find a sleek and spacious multi-purpose residential event venue by interior design firm Super Potato from Japan, which can host private gatherings or parties for up to 80 people during the day. On the 30th floor, a rooftop bar offers guests views of Bangkok's skyline and a selection of cocktails, whiskeys and tapas, and a DJ spinning tunes. The 273-key property will have direct access to the Nana BTS Skytrain station via a sky-bridge.
