•Continued from page 1 Henderson said in a press release. Clark won the 2014 election with 56 per cent of the vote and 63 per cent in 2011. Premier Kathleen Wynne joined Henderson for the nomination meet- ing in Brockville last Thursday. "I am happy to wel- come Mayor Henderson to the team. He's the ninth municipal council member to join my team and the third mayor. David's record of delivering for his constituents shows that he will be a strong voice for the people of his commu- nity." Wynne is up against new PC leader Doug Ford, who leads the early polls over the Liberals and the NDP's Andrea Horwath. Henderson sought the Conservative nomination for Leeds-Grenville in 2010, losing to Clark. Henderson was first elected as Mayor of Brockville in 2006. He previously served as Chair of the Brockville Police Services Board and had a 20-year career in local business, including as owner and general manag- er of a commercial printer in Eastern Ontario and Northern New York State.
