Ralph Lawson revives Back to Basics' Classics in a new album. Kicking off next week the 20/20 Vision boss revisits his past, bringing tracks from the legendary Back To Basics club to a new vinyl series and album. A series of four limited-edition vinyls will be dropped before the whole piece, Back To Basics - Rare Classics lands in April. Old dancefloor fire from Cajmere, Mood II Swing & Neal Howard make the list, compiled by Lawson over two years. Leeds based Back To Basics was a clubbing institution back in its heyday, bringing over Daft Punk, Danny Tenaglia and Derrick Carter in the early days of their careers for mad parties that made it into the history books. The club may have closed its door, but it's legacy lives on. On the collection Lawson said: "The series focuses on highly collectable classic records from the club's long history that paints a true picture of the music played on the dancefloor." Norwegian breakthrough artist Sonny Alven has teamed up with GOLDENS to create effortlessly smooth new single 'Cool With You'. Returning to Maimarkthalle in Mannheim, Time Warp has announced 42 of the best names in techno for its next event. They haven't fallen shy on this one, bringing forward titans of the scene for another serious sesh on the 7th of April. Veterans Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier & Marco Carola hit the bill with heavyweights Ben Klock, Tale Of Us & Maceo Plex alongside Paula Temple, Nicolas Lutz and Nastia making their debuts. Though the music is only the half of it, Time Warp's booking policy goes hand in hand with its ever mind blowing lighting, production and sound system set ups.
