The multi-function dryer features a 54-inch- wide conveyor belt capable of curing more than 720 plastisol-printed garments per hour, as many as 240 water-based or discharge-printed garments per hour, and more than 100 garments per hour inkjet- printed with digital white ink. Capacity can be increased by 100 percent per modular heating chamber added while extending the conveyor belt length and increasing the infinitely-variable speed setting of the digital belt control accordingly. A high-powered pre-heating zone boosts ink temperatures past 300 degrees F within the first few inches of conveyor travel. The X3D allows inkjet-printed garments and pretreated garments, as well as garments pretreated and printed in one process, to cure at the opti- mum temperature and dwell time without constant monitoring, the company says. The dryer's three 48-inch-wide heaters (17,800W at 240V total watts) are digitally-controlled and height-adjustable. The X3D also offers precision-thermal-profiling (PTP) to match curing conditions to the drying characteris- tics of each ink type. The heaters of all Vastex dryers carry a 15-year warranty.
