16 Like any business, the Donahues ran into a few hurdles. "Although we are technically not a startup, we have experienced some of the same obstacles a startup would by enforcing a bit of a culture change within the business. We have asked the staff to work alongside us to step up the upkeep of the facility, as we have spent some money renovating." A change in leadership is always a delicate situation, but they made it clear they want to keep the transition as seamless as possible. Tim Borza is a student of the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics at Syracuse University and intern at USIndoor. His family operates Borza's Recreation Center in Westmoreland, NY. All four of the Ultimate Goal's new owners have exemplified professionalism in their leadership thus far. They have taken the pre-existing vision of Ultimate Goal and incorporated new programs accordingly. Trish says, "Our advice would be create programming that you are proud of. People are not going to walk in our door if we don't have something worth coming for. We want to serve the community the best way that we can and create an environment that people want to come too." The Donahues have done just that, and they are off to a very successful start.
