East Idaho Outdoors is now tucked inside an unexpected place.
Idaho Falls Magazine. As you'll see in this new section, the unexpected is exciting
and well, unusual.
I uncovered stories for this spring issue in the most unusual, and sometimes the
most uncomfortable, places. I did that on purpose. Seemed to fi t the new home we've
found ourselves nesting in among the family of Harris Publishing publications.
Case in point. Owls. They bounce into these pages by way of bathrooms and bur-
rows. I found the big-eyed birds in both places, truthfully. And yes, as expected, both
places are uncomfortable and unbelievable. The bathroom discovery in particular is a
foul issue that needs airing.
The fi shy situation with your feet in the river is another issue that warrants
attention. What you're wading in, and wearing, matters in our western waters. More
about that liquid debate is coming right up.
How about where to migrate to for Mother Nature's best air show? That's in here
too. So is how to drink when you can't pack the kitchen sink and a swag-worthy
sand box.
All this sound unexpected? Unusual? That's the point. Embrace the unexpected and
the unusual. They're both in this section. What's even better, the unexpected and the
unusual are also waiting for you outside.
See you in the unexpected and unusual wild this summer.
