Pontoon & Deck Boat April 2018 29 www.pdbmagazine.com for travel on the trailer," adds Mary. "We even got rid of our tube because no one wanted to go tubing anymore. Everyone just wants to park the boat in a nice cove and jump! We'll never own another boat without having a LilliPad diving board. It is our favorite accessory and a must-have for any boat." Fun For All Ages "We absolutely love our board because it's truly multi-generational," says Tony Fingerle, another satisfied LilliPad customer. "It works for all ages and for us that range is from our granddaughter who is not even 2 yet, to my mother and step-father who are in their late 70s." Tony and his wife Maria estimate the pontoon gets used at the family cottage at least five days a week during the summer by four generations of family members. "If you're going to spend some money on a boat, this is what you want to get with it," adds Fingerle. "Of course it even works well on older boats like the 1994 pontoon we installed our diving board on years ago. The grandkids like to see me doing back flips off of it and they wear themselves out jumping off the boat all day long." Ever Expanding Being the vice president of sales in the Western region at Bennington has its advantages. For one Daniel Hahn's personal boat is a 30-foot, 10-foot wide Bennington beauty with every possible feature you could ask for, including a LilliPad Diving Board. "Being out in southern California we see a lot of VIP-type guests including Hollywood stars so the boat gets used a lot," says Hahn. "I met Corey and Ann at the Minneapolis Boat Show probably four or so years ago and I knew I needed their diving board on my boat. I trusted the product and Corey's engineering background so there was zero hesitation. It should come on every pontoon as we absolutely love ours that is constantly being used." Hahn has offered business advice to Corey and Ann over the years as well as helped them grow their company. As their friendship has grown, so has the popularity of the LilliPad brand and Hahn's marine connections and business experience has a lot to do with it. Get In Line Another satisfied Bennington owner is Mike Skaff who installed his diving board over a year ago on his 2017 Bennington QX. "I installed it myself with a little help," says Skaff. "It was very easy to install. It took about an hour because I tend to over think everything, but it really was easy. The directions were perfect and the only hard part was being okay with drilling a hole in the deck of my new boat." If you're ever on Lake Diane, in Camden, Mich., this Bennington is easy to spot since the diving board tends to attract a lot of attention. "Half of us sit with a drink as we watch the other half form a constant line to use the LilliPad," adds Skaff. "We use it all the time and if you have a boat you really should have one of these. It's a simple as that." Photo by Tony Fingerle Photo by Tony Fingerle Photo by Mary Chase Photo by Mary Chase Photo by Mike Skaff
