t may not be a rebuild, per se, because Purdue is
probably going to return a strong core from this
past season's 30-win team, but you might call it a
hard reset next season as the Boilermakers move for-
ward without the outgoing senior class that's meant so
much to the program.
Gone are Vincent Edwards, Isaac
Haas, Dakota Mathias and P.J.
Thompson, the four-man class that
served as the program's foundation
the past four seasons, and with class-
mate Jacquil Taylor leaving along-
side them this spring as a graduate
transfer, it makes for something of a
generational shift, with a team next
season that'll include at least a half
dozen players who've yet to play an
official game in a Purdue uniform.
There is, though, a foundation of
known commodities in place.
