Known for playing charismatic live sets using mainly hardware equipment, Saytek is an accomplished artist who has built up an impressive back catalogue of releases. Saytek's latest release has been his artist debut on Just Her's label Constant Circles, which breaks away from the labels usual sound and showcases the imprints dynamic approach when it comes to signing new music. Opening the release with 'Circuit 3 am' each of the tracks are a live jam performed by skilled hands. Melody rich synths, vocal stabs and a simple floor groove that start things off conservatively, but leading into the second track 'Macros', it gets a lot more frantic. Unpredictable with a tense atmosphere, 'Marcos' is dark and in your face with building effects and abrasive claps that build to a crescendo with ominous pads layered under intense white noise. But the last track 'Session 1' is self-contained and much harder. Hypnotic and up-tempo, the whole release falls under the techno header, but the last track is an undeniable epitome of the genre. Berlin producer, NHOAH drops new album. Following it's huge season in Ibiza, Labyrinth welcomed legends from the house and techno scenes to play at Tobacco Dock for a proper Easter tech house sesh. GUESTLIST RECOMMENDS: NHOAH Mid afternoon saw the Little Gallery getting a proper pounding with a heavy dosage of stomping tech house courtesy of William Djoko & Archie Hamilton. As the evening drew in, Erick Morillo stepped up in the Great Gallery and teared it up with bouncy basslines and silky smooth grooves. Closing the show was the main man himself, Hot Since 82. The UK house icon vibed off the energy in the venue with more stellar pickings getting hammered out to a packed Great Gallery. His sensational skills on the decks kept the ravers on their feet till those lights came up, signing off one of the biggest parties in London over the Easter weekend. Hot Since 82's Labyrinth returns to Ibiza in 2018. They'll be holding things down in Pacha every Friday between May 25th and October 12th! With an impressive discography and career now spanning over three decades, NHOAH latest LP explores new paths in a stripped-down setting. By taking his studio to the road, NHOAH reanimated his whole production process by combining hardware and equipment with software. This development led NHOAH to create his latest record, West Berlin, "from scratch." Written in just six weeks, West Berlin was reduced to only a modular synth, various controllers and a computer during its recording process. NHOAH proposes insight into his world, where the possibilities behind the power of inspiration and positive energy are endless. Berlin's resonance is echoic in lead track '120 Red Skies', the single reverberates juxtaposed ideas within the album, both experimental in places yet mechanical in others.
