Major usability improvements introduced into the software make setting up a new system and small adjustments easier. Easier set- up features with updated user interface include: simplified wheel speed input, analog input diagrams with wiring colors to double-check the installation, and diagrams to aid installing custom sensors with a step-by-step guide. Integration-Ready Radar Detector K40 Electronics, Elgin, Illinois, introduces the RL360di and RL200di custom- installed radar detector systems that integrate with the Automotive Data Solutions (ADS) iDatalink Maestro RR interface and select Kenwood/JVC radios. The systems can provide drivers with a visual and touch on-screen user experience, and when used with the iDatalink Maestro interface and select Kenwood/JVC radios, integration features include: on- screen alert information, police radar source location, police radar band and signal strength indicators, real-time speed and more. Phone Voice Command Smack Innovations, Philadelphia, introduces the Re-Inventing the Wheel (RITW) SafeConnect that clamps onto a steering wheel and works through voice commands and a few buttons to access the user's phone and installed apps. Designed to safely merge the real-world use of a smartphone with driving in an affordable product that looks good and is easy to install, it does not require a screen. A deluxe model is available that offers additional features to combat driver fatigue or hypnosis that can occur from driving for extended periods of time. Advanced Amplifier Interface NAV-TV, Coral Springs, Florida, presents its ZEN-V Advanced Amplifier Interface for Volkswagen AG vehicles equipped with MOST150. The ZEN-V allows the seamless addition of aftermarket amplifiers into compatible vehicles, delivering audiophile-quality sound without compromising the vehicle's factory fit, finish or features. Utilizing the same processing power as NAV-TV's competition-proven M650-GM, the ZEN-V produces a completely flat audio output without any factory time delay or equalization. At-the-Track App HP Tuners, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, presents the TrackAddict app that transforms iPhone, iPad or Android devices into a motorsports telemetry and video system. Users can see lap times instantly, capture video and telemetry data, compare laps side-by- side, create video-plus-data overlays and more. The app offers a quick and easy setup. In-Dash System Alpine Electronics of America Inc., Torrance, California, presents the new iLX-F309 Alpine Halo9, an in-dash system with a 9-inch touchscreen that hovers over the vehicle's dashboard. The iLX-F309 is an AM/FM/digital media receiver with a 9-inch WVGA touchscreen and mech-less design (no CD/DVD slot). It uses a 1-DIN chassis for installation but the screen hovers over the vehicle's dashboard, allowing the oversize screen to be added to a variety of vehicles without the need for custom installation.
