14 ■ THE WOLFPACKER PACK PICTURE ■ Milestone Commemoration Win No. 800 at NC State for 22nd-year baseball head coach Elliott Avent was never in doubt. The Wolfpack trounced Bowling Green 11-1 at Doak Field at Dail Park in Raleigh March 2. Avent has the seventh-most wins among active coaches at their current school (822 through April 29).
