S P E C I A L F E A T U R E Q: Could you give a description of your Macao event? A: Nearly 1,000 of our delegates travelled to Macao from China and Hong Kong for our annual company meeting. The rst two days of meetings and events were accompanied by a third day to explore Macao, which allowed for both business and leisure activities. Eddingpharm is made up of around 1,000 personnel, based throughout China, Hong Kong and Macao, so bringing our It's All About The Chemistry! Macao creates unforgettable synergy for companies and employees in Macao company colleagues together each year is very important for company morale, bonding and internal networking. We started the rst day gathering staff for a general meeting, followed by an afternoon employee performance. The second day was taken up with over a dozen departmental meetings taking place in individual meeting rooms and focusing on productive internal discussions. Q: What made Macao the best MICE destination choice for your event? A: First of all we chose Macao because our company headquarter is in Hong Kong and we have a trade centre in Macao, so we know it well. We are very impressed at the number of hotels that have been opening in the last few years and the extensive capacity they offer. With almost 1,000 delegates it wasn't easy to nd a convenient destination in Asia. We chose Macao thanks to its extensive and modern hotel and meeting space capacities, world-class service, and because applying for a visa is easy. In addition, venues are within walking distance of each other, communication and language were easy and the outstanding value for money were signicant draws. Q: How did Macao's UNESCO recognised rich culture and delicious local cuisines add to the experience? A: The free day for staff to explore Macao was very successful. Some of our delegates had long wished to visit the destination and were setting foot in Macao for the very rst time. So we made their desire to visit come true, while rewarding them. Our delegates loved the quality shopping opportunities and trying local dishes. WeChat Moments photos show our colleagues visiting the Ruins of St Paul's and the Macau Tower, various foodie destinations and other attractions, and they clearly had a very good time.
