After a change in management decision, the group of dealers and their spouses from India were set to tour Vietnam in January. This saw ASIA DMC executing the event within just one month. Culinary and cultural agendas The seven-day, six-night incentive trip with nightly cocktail gala functions kicked off in Vietnam's northern city of Hanoi, where delegates attended a main gala dinner at the Melia Hanoi Hotel. The nightly galas featured a varied lineup including top Indian chefs from Vietnam, local vegetarian meals, and dancing and cultural performances. Both dealers and their spouses also went for excursions to neighbouring attractions such as Halong Bay and Ninh Binh before heading further south to Ho Chi Minh and the beaches of Vung Tau. Authentic culinary and nature agendas add depth to glamorous evening functions. Immersive and authentic Delegates were treated to a culinary and nature immersion with cooking classes held on the rice fields of Ninh Binh, which featured the impressive limestone karsts as a backdrop. There, delegates learnt how to make traditional Vietnamese vegetarian foods such as fresh spring rolls and banana flower salad in small groups of 15 from a team of in-house culinary experts; the groups also took part in local village walks and other activities. Adding a fun element was a local DJ spinning Indian and Western beats during various evening functions such as the beach party at Vung Tau beach, rooftop bar party in Ho Chi Minh city and gala dinner event in Hanoi. Talking point Spouse partners were appreciative of being included in their partner's celebrations for a top-selling year in 2017 and enjoyed the immersive experience to learn about Vietnamese culture. Looking ahead With the delivery of services exceeding the client's expectations, they have confirmed the same event for 2019 in Cambodia.
