Saturday and Sunday June 9-10 over 2,100 cyclists will be on the road to Ottawa and Kingston and back as part of the Ottawa Bicycle Club's Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour. Saturday, they make their way to Kingston, on four different routes, and make the return trip start- ing Sunday morning. Most cyclists travel the original Classic route, Cty. Rd. 10 and 36 on the Perth to Kingston leg but some take the 'Century' route which starts in Perth, trav- el down the Narrows Lock Road and to Kingston by way of Elgin and Bat- tersea. OUNCIL SC T AR TAR POR TP ES o: W e inf or m This weekend Ontario Waterways' Kawartha Voyageur began its spring season on the Rideau with the first of two round-trips to Ottawa. Last spring's high waters prevent- ed the boat's spring Rideau tours. The boat is docking on the main dock in Westport after the dock at the foot of Bedford Street was damaged by a driver earlier this spring.
