MANUFACTURER BIOS Majestic Yachts Majestic Yachts manufactures some of the finest houseboats, river yachts, trailerable houseboats, floating cottages and many other marine-related vessels that can be found in this industry. In the last couple of years, this builder has also performed several restorations on older boats that were manufactured by various boat builders. According to Majestic, most of its customers have found it to be an advantage to upgrade their current boat to protect and or increase the value of their investment. The three partners have a combined 80-plus years of experience in the marine industry and they work with its employees in the plant every day to oversee each and every project. This ensures that the quality always comes first. The company's motto is simple: "Give the customer everything that they paid for, at a very fair price, and in the end, try and give them some extras." 2012 Recap: According to the manufacturer, Majestic Yachts was at 25 percent of its potential due to the economy, but it is looking forward to the 2013 year. Like most boat builders, Pluckebaum faced another challenging year but service work has kept them busy. For a pleasure cruise or a year-round lifestyle, from the moment you board a Pluckebaum craft you are in command of one of the world's finest houseboats. This Kentucky-based manufacturer traces its roots back to 1932 when Arthur Pluckebaum and his brother first started building boats. In 1946, Arthur built the first Pluckebaum houseboat, a steel hull and wood superstructure that would ultimately be the beginnings of Pluckebaum Custom Boats, Inc. During the years, over 600 Pluckebaum boats have been produced. Today, son Dennis Pluckebaum is in charge and continues his father's tradition of custom, all-aluminum coastal cruisers, motor yachts and commercial specialty vessels. On average, Pluckebaum produces only a handful of boats per year, each one custom-built to the owner's specifications. Pluckebaum's all-welded aluminum hull and superstructure provide exceptional strength and durability in unusual lightweight and corrosion-resistant construction. The exclusive deep keel and modified V-bottom hull provide cruiser-like stability and handling. The exclusive propulsion system, designed by Arthur and Dennis Pluckebaum, positions the engines and power generators completely astern. Inside the spacious cabin you'll find luxurious accommodations, ideal for entertaining or family living.
