"Timing is critical, and poor irrigation can make a lot of off-
type tubers," Atchley says. "Laura is in charge of irrigation,
and she seems to have it down as good as it gets. She
understands potatoes and how to maximize production,
despite all the meteorological and geological challenges."
"Clen is someone who knows what he wants," sums up
Angell. "You do it right the first time; you don't cut corners."
Which is important when you're irrigating in a circle on
sharp slopes.
