Taco Charlton DE 15 B+ Was a tad inconsistent early on, but was almost un- stoppable as a senior en route to first-team All-Big Ten honors from the coaches and media. David Dawson OL 0 D- Was highly touted coming out of high school. How- ever, he never cracked the starting lineup and only appeared in four games before heading to Iowa State. He only had 73 career rushing yards, but scored 13 touchdowns. Maurice Hurst Jr. DT 17 A Far outplayed his three-star recruiting ranking, ultimately becoming a consensus All-American as a fifth-year senior. He was U-M's MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in his final season. Da'Mario Jones WR 0 D- Played in just 22 games at U-M before leaving for Bowling Green where his football career came to an end. Mike McCray LB 26 B+ Was always a bit limited by injuries and a lack of elite athleticism, but he was an integral part of Don Brown's stellar defenses. He was voted a team captain by his teammates and was the co-recipient of the 2017 Robert P. Ufer Bequest, presented to the player who demonstrates the most enthusiasm and love for Michigan.
