The label, born from Ninja Tune is renowned for its underground urban artists including Roots Manuva, Wiley and Dels. Stand out releases have come from two artists makingsomewhatofacomebackafterbeingoff the scene for a while; The Black Salad EP from Dels and Natural featuring Kope from Roots Manuva, off the impending Banana Skank EP. Amongstotherrecentreleaseswasalabeldebut from garage star Sticky, who premiered a new directionofhousewith���PedalRiddim���.Therewas alsoButFearItself,thesecondEPfrombassman Dobie,theleadtrack���I-Anomaly���athrobbing,hard hitting,headnodder.Thelabel,launchedin1997 by former music journalist Will Ashon, is set to enter2013raringtogowithtwobigreleaseslined up;themuchanticipatedBananaSkankEPfrom RootsManuva,inJanuaryfollowedcloselybyWe WillNotHarmYou,anLPfromDobieinFebruary. EVENTS Mahiki was set up in 2005, compared to most clubs it���s still fairly new but still has a reputation of having innovative cocktails and the most fun bar & club on the planet (Not joking)! This year Mahiki had appearances from Tulisa and Nicole Scherzinger. It is also known for it���s kindness as all the guests are treated with equal respect. No VIP rooms can be found as all are VIPs in Mahiki. Pacha is an internationally known club, it has venues in Ibiza, Egypt, Brazil, US and Russia. It���s UK base is in the heart of London. Every Friday and Saturday. The venue plays a variety of different music from a variety of DJ���s and different themes. This year Pacha is throwing a hit Vegas theme New Years party.
