This year's list is littered with the principle pieces of the passing attack on offense and a couple of senior defensive players being relied upon to anchor the front six. Here is the preseason top 25: THE TOP 25 These Players Figure Significantly Into NC State's Success This Fall Safety turned linebacker Germaine Pratt ranked fourth on the team in tackles (69) in 2017, and also became the first Wolfpack defender to score a pair of touchdowns in a season since David Amerson in 2011.
