70 ■ THE WOLFPACKER OFFENSIVE LINE BY MATT CARTER M uch was made last season of the four starting defensive linemen, all of whom would be drafted following their se- nior years by the NFL. All four were part of Dave Doeren's first full recruiting class in 2014. Somewhat overlooked was that the five starting offensive line- men from last year's team — a group that gave up just 13 sacks in 13 games, the lowest total in 15 years, and blocked for a 1,000-yard rusher — were also from that famed 2014 class. Two of them are off chasing their own NFL dreams. Right tackle Will Richardson left school early to enter the NFL Draft and was picked in the fourth round by the Jacksonville Jag- uars. Right guard Tony Adams, the only one of the five to play as a true freshman, signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent. The other three, now fifth-year seniors, could be next in line. At least that's the feeling of NC State offensive line coach and run game coordinator Dwayne Ledford, who spent seven years in the NFL with four different teams.
