Headquartered in Copenhagen, The VELUX Group is a designer and manufacturer of roof windows and modular skylights. The company's mission is to create better living environments for people around the world. The VELUX Group is known for their innovative, high-quality products; ensuring this continued excellence requires delivering ongoing training to around 10,000 employees in more than 40 countries. Training must be also be customised for different business units, an endeavor not easily accomplished with their existing learning management system (LMS). "We knew we had to replace our LMS. It wasn't very good, and it was costing us a lot of money," said Morten Holm, HRIS project manager for The VELUX Group. Each business unit also had their own method of performance management, which made getting the overview of talent across the organisation difficult. "As The VELUX Group evolved toward being more global, we knew we also had to grow our talent management capabilities," said Holm.
